OFFICIAL RULES

  1. Players in charity tournaments must be a minimum of 18 years of age. 
  2. All seats at charity tournaments are pre-reserved.  Date of event walk-ins will be taken if space is available.
  3. Payment of seat must be made at registration.
  4. There are no refunds for seats unless the event is cancelled by the host charity.
  5. Check-in for tournament begins at the venue a minimum of one hour prior to start time. 
  6. Table and seat assignments will be randomly determined unless the client sells a table sponsorship and the sponsor elects to provide players at their table. 
  7. Late players will be designated a seat and their blinds will be posted for them through the first two rounds or as designated to us by the client.  After this time, the remaining chips will be taken off of the table and put out of play.
  8. There will be a maximum of 10 players per table scheduled.  Additional players may be added at the tournament director's discretion.
  9. Starting position for the dealer button will be at the Directors discretion. 
  10. Tournament director and Floor staff have final say on rule interpretation. 
  11. Small blind is directly to the dealer buttons left.  The big blind is directly to the small blinds left.  Blinds and dealer button move around the table in a clockwise direction.
  12. If the number of players differs by two or more between any two tables, one player must move from the highest populated table to the lowest populated table. The director or floor person will choose a player as close as possible that is playing a hand in the same position (seat) relative to the button. 
  13. When a player loses all of his chips he is eliminated from the tournament, unless there are re-buy or add-on provisions.
  14. No Limit Hold’em tournaments run approximately 4 hours.  However, tournaments may continue until one player wins all the chips or a chip count is held. This is up to each client's discretion. 
  15. The timer is stopped during breaks to the final table and during any disputes that occur which require attention of the floor personnel or the tournament director to resolve.
  16. Conduct Code – Management will attempt to maintain a pleasant environment for all our players and staff, but is not responsible for the conduct of any player. We have established a code of conduct, and may deny a players right to play if he violates it. The following is not permitted: Collusion with another player or any other form of cheating; Verbally or physically threatening any patron or staff member; Using profanity or obscene language; Creating a disturbance by arguing, shouting, or making excessive noise; Throwing, tearing, bending, or crumpling cards; Destroying or defacing property, Using an illegal substance; Carrying a weapon.
  17. POKER ETIQUETTE – The following actions are improper and grounds for warning, suspending, or barring a violator: Deliberately acting out of turn; Deliberately splashing chips into the pot; Agreeing to check a hand out when a third player is all-in; Reading a hand for another player at the showdown before it has been placed face up on the table; Telling anyone to turn a hand face up at the showdown; Revealing the contents of a live hand in a multi-handed pot before the betting is complete; Needlessly stalling the action of the game; Deliberately discarding hands away from the muck (cards should be released in a low line of flight, at a moderate rate of speed) Stacking chips in a manner that interferes with dealing or viewing cards; Making statements or taking action that could unfairly influence the course of play, whether or not the offender in involved in the pot; Using a cell phone at the table. 
  18. Tobacco use – There is no smoking allowed at the poker tables.
